Course in local organizing returns this autumn
Do you want to gain new tools to make the difference you or your organization are working towards?
The highly appreciated YH course in Community Organising is back this autumn. This professional development course is tailored for those with experience and a passion for creating positive social change. You’ll gain new tools and sharpen your existing skills through inspiring and experienced lecturers.

During the course, you will gain knowledge of the Community Organising framework, including its theories and key concepts. The programme is designed to be combined with work, and you will work on real cases from your own organization. This includes challenges such as member-led organizing, developing local leaders, mapping power, building sustainable structures, and working strategically for long-term impact.
The Community Organising course is organized by Digidem Lab and Nätverkstan in collaboration with international partners in the field. The programme is funded by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education and the Västra Götaland Region.
The course has been developed together with Save the Children, Svenska Kyrkan Göteborgs Stift, Folkets Hus och Parker, Frihamnsdagarna, Navet in Bergsjön, Saqmi, PAGE 28, Positiva Gruppen Göteborg, and Göthenburgo. It is grounded in the real challenges these organizations face in their everyday work, as well as their need for collaboration and knowledge development.
